My responsibilities as Assistant Pastor are many and varied.  I am the song leader, choir director, schedule the singing groups for the church, and am the Dean of the Lansing Baptist Bible Institute.  I also oversee the buildings, transportation, and maintenance.  I am the mission trip coordinator to foreign fields, take youth and senior citizens on bus trips, teach in our Bible Institute, serve the Lord in personal soul winning, and preach when called upon.

I grew up in a godly Christian home, and the things of God were always important to me.  I was saved by the grace of God when I was seven years old.  I was attending a revival service when God spoke to my heart.  While at a youth camp, at the age of thirteen, God called me into the ministry, and ever since then, I have endeavored to serve the Lord wherever He has wanted me to.  I have been to Mexico many times, but the Lord has not called me there.  He has continually told me to remain loyal and faithful to my Dad as his assistant for more than 12 years, and Choir Director for 35 years.

As a young man, I studied at Midwestern Baptist College of Pontiac, Michigan, receiving my BRE (Bachelors of Religious Education 1974) and have recently completed my MRE (Masters of Religious Education 2006) from there. Doctorate of Theology 2007.    

I married my high school sweetheart, Nancy, and we were married for twenty-two years before the Lord called her home with leukemia.  I have now been married to Brenda Lee (Brady) for the past twelve years, and the Lord has blessed me with six children and seven grandchildren. 

My goals have always been to follow the Lord’s will, and although I have always thought I might be a pastor some day, I have been content to serve with my Father.
