Dr. Don Green, our beloved pastor, will be 80 years old on June 5th. We want to do something very special to honour him on his 80th birthday. We are planning several things for a few days surrounding his birthday.
We want to make this a special time for him, with all of his children planning to be with him, as well as so many of you dear friends that he prays for daily. Your being here for this occasion will help to make it a real blessing for him and an enjoyable time for all. If you cannot come; please write a letter, send a card, or a note of encouragement.
DATES and EVENTS
Wednesday June 4th
- 7:30 p.m. 34th Lansing Baptist School Graduation
Thursday June 5th
- Green Family gathering including Dr. Green's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
Friday June 6th
- 8:00 a.m. Men’s golf outing. If you would like to participate in this outing, please contact Dennis Ball at 517-242-5348 by April 14th.
- 1:30-5:30 p.m. A reception with Dr. Green for all of our out-of-town guests
- 6:30 p.m. Birthday Banquet/Lansing Baptist School and LBBI Alumni Fellowship Banquet with Dr. Green as the guest of honour. As this will be a catered banquet, please RSVP by May 1st. Cost is $10 per person if you RSVP by May 1st. After May 1st, the cost is $15 per person. To RSVP click here.
Saturday June 7th
- 10:00 a.m. LBS Alumni Breakfast in the gym
Sunday June 8th
- Fellowship Dinner after morning service for the church family, past church members, friends, all visitors to the area

Pictures We are giving Dr. Green a Digital Photo Frame, and we want to put your pictures on it; both past and present. You can scan and e-mail them, or send us copies in the mail (we cannot return your pictures, but can accept them in any format). No one is insignificant to Dr. Green. He loves you all. Show him the same courtesy by sending your pictures. It is a surprise.
